One Room Schoolhouse Field Trips and Tours ~ The Akron Townhouse School is an excellent resource to give students a real-life experience of what it was like to attend a one-room school. The school volunteers offer field trips which include a tour and instruction. Field trips to the schoolhouse are scheduled for either the morning or afternoon. The volunteers are retired teachers who recreate what it might have been like to attend a one room country school.
Field Trips are available during the months of September, October, November, March, April, and May.
