FAQS

Artifact Donations?

The Princeville Heritage Museum accepts donations of artifacts that are specific to Princeville and area history.  Those donations can include:  household items, toys, memorabilia, photographs, letters and family histories.  Unique vintage items of all kinds are educational and fun.  Space is limited however, both in display and storage.  Occasionally we have multiples of some items.  Photographs and scanable paper items can be copied for our archives if the donor wishes to keep the original.

Donations of tractors and equipment must have the prior approval of the Historical Association of Princeville’s Board.  Space is very limited with large items such as tractors and equipment.   Prior board approval is needed so that we can be sure the items can be stored and displayed properly.

How old does the artifact or photo need to be?

History is being made today, every era has a story to tell!

Can you open the museum on weekends and after hours?

Yes, please contact the museum 309-385-1916 or email, phmdirector@frontier.com.  We can set up a time for a volunteer to be present to open the museum for you.

What about group or class tours?

We need notice ahead of time for larger groups so that we can staff enough volunteers for your visit.  Please contact the museum to book your field trip.
